Pervasive’s Brian Stein is proud to be teaching at the Graduate School of Banking at University of Wisconsin.    Brian will be teaching this fall about “Mobile Banking Opportunities and Lessons Learned” to the 230+ students enrolled in the program, which incidentally, just announced they are sold out for the coming year.

Since 1945, the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (GSB) has helped develop banking leaders through a program of advanced management education. Today, GSB is widely recognized as the nation’s leading and most progressive banking school, offering a comprehensive course of study that focuses on meeting the changing needs of today’s bank manager.

Brian’s course, “Mobile Banking Opportunities and Lessons Learned” will examine the growth of mobility and the impact it has had on the financial services industry, and retail banking in particular.   As consumers’ expectations have developed around mobile, banks must not only provide basic capabilities, but also continue to expand their offerings.  The course will review some lessons learned from previous implementations at both large international institutions and community banks, as well as from other industries.   Discussion topics will include:

  • Developing a mobile strategy
  • Selling that strategy to the organization
  • Choosing an implementation approach and architecture that will support both current and future needs
  • Planning for the launch of mobile solutions
  • Driving customer adoption

Additionally the course will look at next generation financial service solutions which can drive better customer engagement and reduce servicing costs.
