This weekend, Soundbomb is presenting a 24 hour hack-a-thon to explore the application of technology to the art and music disciplines.  All Cleveland-area DIY musicians, artists, programmers, designers, and learners are invited to get inspired, collaborate, share ideas, create something awesome and party with us. There will be live music, lectures, food and prizes. Even if you don’t participate, please attend to see the cool presentations by our guest speakers!

Guest Speakers include:

  • Peter Ferry – Percussionist/performer in renowned orchestra Alarm Will Sound will be presenting on interactive music
  • Earthquaker Devices – This pedal effects company based in Akron will be on hand to discuss their innovative solutiions and how they can be applied to this space; E.D. will also be donating some of their effects pedals as prizes for winners of this hackathon
  • Jane Alexander, CIO, Cleveland Museum of Art: Transforming the Art Museum Experience: Gallery One at Cleveland Museum of Art

Please join us from 6pm on Friday, March 26th – Saturday, March 27th to participate in the event, or just stop by to join in some of the festivities, including an after-party beginning at 9pm on Saturday night.  The event will be held at Mahall’s, located at 13200 Madison Ave, Lakewood, Ohio 44107.
